The latest minty fresh advice comes after a man on Reddit recently shared his painful experience when he was a teenager looking for a household lube.
While in the shower one day, he put down the shampoo bottle, grabbed some toothpaste and pleasured himself. He then washed the paste off and went about his day with a slight pain.
The next day his penis was throbbing – but not in a good way.
“Later that day when I went to use the toilet, when I took down my trousers I saw some discolouration … I had a look and all the skin was red and raw, with some parts of the skin beginning to scab.”
After nearly confessing to his family because of the excruciating pain, he eventually let the skin heal on its own.
“I’ve learnt to never use toothpaste as lube again.”
POISONING VICTIM DIES YEARS LATER
A young man who ate a poisoned sandwich nearly four years ago and fell into a coma has died.
The man, 26, consumed lead acetate and mercury after it was sprinkled on his meal by a coworker and suffered severe brain damage, according to the BBC, which cited German media.
Two other colleagues also ingested the poisons and sustained kidney damage.
A man, identified as Klaus O, was sentenced to life in prison last year after he was found guilty of attempted murder.
A state prosecutor on Thursday said a new trial could be ordered after the man lost his life.

BUTTER KNIFE USED IN ATTACK
A man was arrested recently following a bizarre gas station attack in Atlanta.
The accused’s weapon of choice? A butter knife.
The assailant was able to slip through a small opening in the store’s bulletproof window and attacked one of the employees, police said.
“He came in immediately and started screaming and shouting and jumped,” Shell employee Berhan Nemaneta told WSB-TV Atlanta. “He was very, very scary.”
Nemaneta was able to fight off the attacker and both workers escaped the store and locked the doors behind them before police arrived to arrest the man.
The injured coworker received minor cuts to his head but will be fine.
COYOTE CHOMPS MAN’S BUTT, KID’S HEAD
Two coyote attacks within hours of each other in Chicago after three decades without one has left people concerned about their safety.
On Wednesday afternoon, a man walked into Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a scratch on his buttocks claiming a coyote attacked him, police told the Chicago Tribune.
Hours earlier, a 6-year-old boy was bitten in the head by a coyote in Lincoln Park, police said.
“The line crossed here is the fact that it attacked a child,” Chicago Animal Care and Control executive director Kelly Gandurski said at a Thursday press conference, reports CNN. “It’s not acting like a coyote. It was brazen enough to interact with a child.”
