“These people aren’t really genuinely disenfranchised at all,” the rock legend told the newspaper. “They just view themselves as special. It’s selfishness and in that respect, it’s divisive and can only lead to trouble.”
He had other choice words: “Bloody judgmental and vicious” and called wokeists “spoilt children” “with s— for brains.”

Former cult member Rose McGowan chimed in against the Democrats, claiming the party had become like a cult. Intolerant, humourless, strident.
She told Fox News: “It [growing up in a cult] gave me the ability to see the control and the propaganda machine, especially in the U.S., for what it is and how it harms people and how the left can harm people just as much as the right.”

McGowan — who helped trigger the #MeToo movement — said she’d likely be ripped apart for appearing on Fox. On cue, Rosanna Arquette tweeted that McGowan’s comments were “disturbing.”

Meanwhile, longtime Democrat power player James Carville told Vox he worries his party’s embrace of wokeness could torpedo future electoral hopes.
He slammed the party’s “faculty lounge” politics that ignores meat and potatoes issues.
“Wokeness is a problem that could cost Democrats in future elections,” Carville told VOX.com, adding that they won the election only because Donald Trump is a “buffoon.”
“The reason is simple: They’ve got a messaging problem,” he said, pointing to phrases like “Latinx”, and “communities of colour.”

“You ever get the sense that people in faculty lounges in fancy colleges use a different language than ordinary people? They come up with a word like ‘Latinx’ that no one else uses,” he told VOX.com. “This ‘too-cool-for-school’ s— doesn’t work, and we have to stop it.”

WHERE’S THE BEEF?
Conde Nast’s Epicurious magazine is cutting out beef from its recipes, social media posts and in its articles.
The newly woke foodie Bible assures readers it’s all “about sustainability and being pro-planet.” Not like those anti-planet meat eaters!
Epicurious noted cattle are a prime villain in global greenhouse gas emissions.
The editors wrote: “Abstaining from beef means we can use our resources to focus our recipes on more climate-friendly foods. If you’re looking for ways to lower your personal carbon footprint, abstaining from beef is a straightforward and effective way to do it.” Yuck.

TALK TANKS
Ratings on daytime gabfest The Talk have tanked since the departure of Sharon Osbourne who defended Piers Morgan in his war with Harry and Meghan. It’s another example of go woke, go broke.
The CBS show returned April 13 following a one month hiatus after Osbourne’s departure. Soap Opera Digest says it is now the lowest-rated daytime show.
