“Yes, all white people are racist in that all white people have been conditioned in a society where one’s racial identity determines life experiences/outcomes and whiteness is the norm and default,” Slater wrote in her now locked-down Instagram account.
“That includes me!”
On her website, Slater boasts she is a “white anti-racist scholar and educator.”
Her performative outburst started as a defense of race critical theory for naming “oppression that already exists.”
Then it got ugly.
”Debates about critical race theory are often straw men for debates about whether systemic racism is real,” Slater said.
