Fezziwig presents a sci-fi family frolic in Wolfville, N.S.
Fezziwig Family Christmas Frolic returns to kick off the holiday season, Nov. 29 to 30, with 'They Give: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Holidays', by Van Ekris.
He says the show is packed full of everything — from an alarmingly large tree in the middle of town, small and dazzlingly impressive cubes, the careful balance of human emotions and strange visitors from out of this world. It even features a robotic duck.
As wild as that might seem, the show’s overall themes speak to the vulnerability and trust it takes to accept ourselves, each other, and the realities of living in a community.
The Fezziwig Family Christmas Frolic began in 1996 and over the years has taken many forms: drama, pantomime and this year, a science fiction tale. It represents the second in a trilogy of productions.
