HUNTER: Who is suspected pro-Palestinian Jewish Museum killer?

Article content
Elias Rodriguez was overflowing with righteous indignation in his fanatical quest for social justice.
That’s the tale told by his internet appearances.
Cops say the 31-year-old Chicago researcher reached his final destination outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday night.
There, witnesses said he nervously meandered about outside the museum on 575 3rd St NW. He was pacing back and forth with the intensity of a child with a bad report card.
And then, just after 9 p.m., two Israeli Embassy staffers emerged, along with two other people. And Rodriguez was allegedly ramped up for martyrdom.
He is accused of opening fire, striking Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, cut down in the street as they left the American Jewish Committee’s ACCESS Young Diplomats Reception. Both were fatally wounded.

The couple met at work and were planning to get engaged next week, the Israeli Embassy said.
For his part, and quite predictably, Rodriguez was captured on video screaming “Free Free Palestine!” several times as though it was a mantra, and in case anyone was wondering, “I did it for Gaza.”
He was waving a red keffiyeh.
Naturally.
“Yaron and Sarah were our friends and colleagues. They were in the prime of their lives,” the Embassy of Israel to the USA wrote on X.
“This evening, a terrorist shot and killed them as they exited an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in DC. The entire embassy staff is heartbroken and devastated by their murder. No words can express the depth of our grief and horror at this devastating loss. Our hearts are with their families, and the embassy will be by their side during this terrible time.”
And what of Rodriguez, a grey throbbing muscle of resentment and religious fervour? The pro-Palestinian enthusiast appears to have been plucked from central casting.
Wild hair, pop bottle glasses, out of shape, and screaming.
He is an active member of a far-left Marxist, pro-Palestine group called the Party for Socialism and Liberation and has a BA in English from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Media reports said he worked as an Oral History Researcher at the History Makers, and most recently, toiled as a Profiles Administration Specialist at the American Osteopathic Information Association. In 2020, he donated to the presidential campaign of Joe Biden.
But somewhere along the line (second-year critical race theory?) Rodriguez caught the revolutionary fervour and sweated out pieties.
He doesn’t like cops or Amazon. He told the PSL mag Liberation that really, it’s all whitey’s fault and makes the giant leap of connecting a police shooting in Chicago to the retail giant.
“The wealth that Amazon has brought to Seattle has not been shared with its Black residents,” Rodriguez told the house rag.
“(Amazon’s) whitening of Seattle is structurally racist and a direct danger to all workers who live in that city. So do we in Chicago and all across the country want a nation of cities dominated and occupied by massive corporations where only the rich and white can live and the vast majority of us must live on the edges of the city and society, living in deeper and deeper poverty?”
Rodriguez’s email is connected to an eBay account that has feedback from one seller who hawks Muslim prayer rugs. The rugs feature celebratory imagery of the 9/11 terrorist attacks that killed 3,000 people.
Every weekend and now, frequently on weekdays, the Elias Rodriguez of the world emerge from their hovels. They screech, “Globalize the intifada.”
In Washington on Wednesday night, we learned that it isn’t just a slogan. Up next? Maybe Canada.
