DON’T GIVE THE LIBS ANOTHER CHANCE

I am an 80-year-old veteran and have seen politicians come and politicians go. The most common denominator is the fact that politicians are really the bane of our society. As a young boy growing up in Montreal, playing hockey, professionally, and joining the army for a couple of years, I have learned through experience what to expect and where our country is now. The Liberals have virtually decimated our country with nine years of destruction, lies, scandals, etc. The last good prime minister I believe was Stephen Harper, who had the courage of his convictions. If Canadians vote another Liberal government, I will be the first to jump on board and become an American citizen if it still happens. What a shameful thing to say.

(Canadians have a chance to turn around nearly a decade of the mess the Liberals have made of our country)

REALITY CHECK AT CITY HALL

There is money for changing the names of public squares. Money for changing the names of public schools. Money for bike lanes. There is even money for giving city councillors a big pay raise. But have city services improved? Is Toronto looking cleaner? Are subway stations and subway cars cleaner? Is the city budget balanced? Are we out of debt? It’s time for a reality check at City Hall.

(The short answer to your questions are no — things have not improved in the city. Until we have a change at City Hall, Toronto will dwindle)

ELECTION INTERFERENCE

It seems that Mark Carney is concerned that Pierre Poilievre hasn’t gotten his security clearance. If I was Poilievre, I would tell Carney that I would do the paperwork shortly after Carney declassified and made public the names of the parliamentarians whom Justin Trudeau assured everyone had been identified as somehow connected to foreign influence. I am certain that all Canadian voters would like to be assured that none of these people are involved in the current election.

(Good point)
