A VOTE FOR THE FUTURE

I’ve never had as much anxiety over an election as I have about this one. I’m a retired boomer but definitely not voting Liberal. I don’t believe Mark Carney has any real idea of what the average Canadian is dealing with after 10 years of Liberal mishaps, failed promises, skyrocketing taxes, home costs, crime, drugs. His fiscal plan clearly shows his lack of connection and lack of experience. If he wins, he will be putting Canada into a tailspin of debt, no move forward with our resources, and his housing plan is ludicrous. You may as well live in a cardboard box. The majority of his voters are 60-plus with the least to lose and to be affected by with putting the Liberals back for a fourth kick at the can. Who does that? They need to take off the rose-coloured glasses and stop drinking the Kool-Aid. This really isn’t about us — it’s about our kids’ and grandkids’ futures.

(He has no idea about what the average Canadian has endured since he hasn’t been living in the country for many years. If the Liberals are given another term, it will be more of what we have endured for a decade)

CARNEY ISN’T ARROGANT

Re “LILLEY UNLEASHED: PM Mark Carney’s arrogance knows no bounds” (April 23): I actually do not see Carney as arrogant at all. In fact, he is very moderate, down-to-earth, civilized, and normal. He answers questions directly rather than answering another question, is eloquent and articulate, authoritative, and knowledgeable — he is a long way from arrogant, in my honest opinion. Give your head a shake, Brian Lilley.

(Carney is quickly irritated by questions from the media and has a real problem with the truth. That’s the height of arrogance)

PLEASE, DON’T SUPPORT THE LIBERALS

A vote for the Liberals is a vote to destroy Canadian energy. They will cap production, restrict exploration, and stop the building of pipelines. With a national pipeline system, Canada could sell oil to the world and bring in millions to our nation. Please don’t let them do this.
