Canadian taxpayers are on the hook for another $1 billion to bail out Canada Post. They went on strike, they’re not competing, so we have to bail them out for not doing their job. And, it’s ludicrous how much we have to pay for a stamp these days. A U.S. stamp is $0.73, we’re paying $1.44, and USPS delivers on Saturdays. More frivolous spending from our useless Trudeau Liberals. Doesn’t any new spending have to be approved by Parliament first? It would be cheaper for me to drive to my friends to deliver their cards … no, wait – it wouldn’t, I can’t afford the carbon tax.
(Canada Post needs a fundamental overhaul or it will continue to be an financial burden)
NOT VOTING THIS TIME
As a 72-year-old senior, I have been eligible to vote for 54 years. During that time I have voted in every federal, provincial and municipal election. I have always voted conservative in Ontario. This year for the first time ever I will not be voting. Ford already has his big majority/mandate so this election is not required and is a total waste of money. I should exercise my right to vote, some say. To that I say, if you don’t like any of the choices then why bother.

(There are many Ontarians who share this sentiment which is going to result in low voter turnout this election)
FIX JUSTICE SYSTEM
When the federal Conservatives are elected, the first thing they should attend to is our (lack of) justice system. No bail for criminals with previous charges. Youth lawbreakers tried as adults. Immigrant criminals immediately deported and banned from re-entry. Put the rights of law-abiding citizens first. People who choose to harm others should have no rights. Our system does not work. We all have a right to feel safe in our communities. And it’s the duty of our government to ensure that we do.
