OPPOSING THE ACT

So, what has our country become where a peaceful but noisy protest has been deemed an insurrection and is having everyday citizens’ lives destroyed by donating money or participating in it just because they go against Trudeau’s idea of what this country stands for. According to the Liberals’ media mouthpiece the CBC, “foreign money is funding this protest” so they must invoke the Emergencies Act because of outside influences. Meanwhile, in northern B.C., real terrorists are destroying millions of dollars worth of pipeline equipment and threatening innocent workers but nothing is said by the Liberals to condemn these actions. These anti-pipeline ‘protests’ are being funded by foreign interests and violence has been encouraged to achieve their goals, but since this is the narrative that Trudeau wants nothing will be done to stop them. Trudeau’s only objective is to divide the country to a point that the west and east are at such odds that he will have to ‘step in’ to keep the peace. Does no one who votes for him realize that when he got elected he declared that Canada does not have an identity. He has started to achieve his dream of reshaping Canada into the country he admires most, which is China. Go against what he wants and you are an enemy of the state. It is a sad day when the NDP, which used to stand up for the working Canadian, joined him in this travesty of human rights.

(There was a time the NDP would have approached this on principle, sadly they have abandoned them under their current leader)

RACE RELATIONS

Tarek Fatah is trying to make the resignation of Peter Sloly in Ottawa a race issue (“The problems underlying Sloly’s ‘resignation,'” Feb. 17). Millions of Canadians who watched the events in Ottawa knew nothing of Sloly, let alone what race he belonged to. They could see that attempts to move the protesters were not going well. Some of the responsibility for that has to be laid at the feet of the police chief. Is it possible that Sloly was hired because of his race? It should be possible to hire someone regardless of race and it should be possible to fire someone regardless of race if we are all the same. Frank Robinson was the first black manager in baseball. That was a significant step. Frank Robinson was also fired just like almost every other manager in baseball.

(Sloly isn’t the only one that should have faced consequences)

PLEASE TORONTO, ENOUGH WITH TRUDEAU

I was born 67 years ago in Toronto. During the first half of my life, you wouldn’t have found a prouder Torontonian or Canadian. This will be my last year — I’ve been diagnosed with advanced ALS. Before I go, I am begging my fellow Canadians, particularly my fellow Torontonians, since we are the main reason he keeps getting re-elected, to end Trudeau’s reign. He has destroyed this once great country. Whoever takes over from Erin O’Toole, download present internet postings from around the world (our leftist media groups will never bring them to light) and use them to show the Canadian people just what the global community thinks about our fearless leader. Do they really want this person representing them? Go truckers, Canada, Leafs, Argos, Jays, Raptors, TFC, Rock, Marlies. Thank you all.

(Well said and we wish you well)
