I speak to many Canadians here in our community. We like snowbirds and need them for our economy. However, we also side with our current government. President Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do You have a prime minister known worldwide as the most woke, ideological Western leader who only cares about gender politics and his hypocritical climate change policies. He’s worse than President Biden. We’ve been warning you about your border and the fentanyl and illegal immigrants that come into our country since Trump’s first term and you’ve never done a thing about it. The only reason you’re doing something now is that you’ve been backed into a corner. Don’t blame us for the problems your prime minister caused.

CANADA STRONG AND FREE
U.S. citizen here. Just want to let our good friends in Canada know you are great neighbours. Like many families we are having some dysfunction here. Very sorry for your being dragged into this. We love Canada and hope you will continue to have tolerance and patience as we find our way. It’s a crazy world when we turn against some of the best friends we’ve ever had. You are our friend not our foe. And yes, you are your own people and country – something to be treasured.

TARIFF TURMOIL
Trump has not cancelled any of his potential tariffs – he simply gave Canada a very small window of reprieve. I believe Doug Ford needs to be multi-faceted immediately. First and foremost, be actively working towards alternative trading partners and building strong relationships as well as fine tuning the details on Ontario-levied tariffs if Trump proceeds with his ill-thought-out plans in regards to tariffs imposed upon his strongest neighbours from the north.
