HORSING AROUND
Great front page picture on June 28. Behind every horse’s head, there is a horse’s a**. You have captured it perfectly!

WHERE’S DOUG ON DUNDAS RENAMING?
Where has Doug Ford been while the debate about a name change at Yonge-Dundas Square has gone on? He uploaded the DVP and Gardner Expressway onto the provincial budget, didn’t he? This should have been contingent upon dropping the renaming stupidity. It would have been so easy!

NOT QUALIFIED
Finally, someone has said it out loud, and written it in the press, Brain Lilley, “Run by idiots” (“Mr. Wonderful asks: Why can’t Canada have a real finance minister?” June 27). Chrystia Freeland stands their like she knows it it all, with that same smug smile her boss displays. I, like thousands of Canadians and Kevin O’Leary, don’t know why she’s the finance minister. She has no financial experience or education in that field and let’s be clear, a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Russian history and literature and a masters degree in Slavonic studies from Oxford University does not make you the most qualified individual to be running a country’s finances or Canada’s financial future. O’Leary’s track record clearly demonstrates he knows a bit about investing, and the financial market. He has said out loud what everyone in the financial world is thinking, “I don’t know why she’s the finance minister … she’s there and it’s just totally unqualified.” What does that statement say about her capabilities and her boss’s? It’s time for them both to look at the numbers and evaluate them, and realize it’s time for them to leave.

(It is a chilling thought that she is actually considered one of the more capable ones in Trudeau’s cabinet — which isn’t saying much)
