All Albertans can celebrate that “All Hat, No Cattle” Justin Trudeau has decided to skip the Calgary Stampede! Trudeau is not liked in Alberta. Trudeau is not wanted in Alberta. Trudeau is not welcome in Alberta. The good news from polls and the recent fortress Toronto byelection is Canada is starting to agree with Alberta … finally!!!

(Most Canadians are at the point where Alberta has been for a long time. One thing uniting the country, the desire to dump Trudeau)

NO TO HOME TAX

I understand that the Canadian government is considering levying more taxes when someone sells their home. Already, if I sell my home in Toronto, I pay the municipality and the province a “transfer tax” … and you want to make it worse. If I sell my home, I still have to buy another home … so these taxes shrink my ability to buy a new home. Taking more money from people who sold their homes will not help more Canadians buy homes. It makes no sense. Homes have to become cheaper. Prices for homes have to stay in line with incomes. And while you’re at it, immigration numbers have to stay in line with homes built.

(The Trudeau Liberals’ policies have been all over the place and where we are now has created massive pressure on our public services)

DRINKING TALES

To Doug Ford: I am a supporter and generally agree with your policies. Making liquor available in supermarkets or other stores is not a wise decision. Firstly, the LCBO employees will find most of their jobs or hours will be cut because of the obvious. I believe that the LCBO controls the number of full-time employees again for the obvious reasons. Those who think that liquor is a demon will have just reason to think that it becomes too tempting to pick up a little extra while shopping, and the family suffers in the end. Leave things as they are, give them a raise, and let’s get on to the everyday issues.

(Though he’s flipped and flopped on a number of issues, Ford likely won’t on this one)
