THEY HID BIDEN
The Democrats have lied to the American public along with the media, even the White House press secretary, that Biden was just fine — until that fateful night. When he stood in front of the voters and could not finish a sentence, even the host was pointing to the camera for Biden to look at. Kamala Harris hid this, but I don’t doubt she was planning her rise.

INEXCUSABLE
Re “Secret Service director says ’we failed’” (The Associated Press, July 22): One cannot comprehend how it is even possible that the opening statement of Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle was leaked to the media hours before it was submitted to the congressional hearing committee. What is more appalling to note is the reply from the director who flatly said that she did not know how it was leaked. We are talking about the U.S. Secret Service here, considered one of the top premier agencies around the world tasked with the protection of U.S. leaders and other leaders visiting the United States. A document leaked from a company’s manager’s desk is taken as a serious breach, much less the most secretive office of the repute and national security of the U.S. The hearing was one of the most frustrating political sittings this reader has ever watched, and a salute to lawmakers barring a few that they kept their composure and did not snap on some of the answers given (or not given) by the director. It was a perfect example of ‘passing the buck,’ we observed practically. This hearing was an embarrassment, not for U.S. lawmakers but for U.S. protective services, and also demonstrates to the international audience that the visible appearance differs from what lies beneath and that is not a good message at all.
