Re “Immigration to Canada not a right, Saskatchewan court rules” (Postmedia News, July 24): This ruling has the potential to set a powerful legal precedent, allowing the swift resolution of immigration cases where even the slightest indication of fraud or misconduct is detected. By streamlining the process and ensuring that individuals who violate immigration regulations are dealt with efficiently, it could significantly accelerate the repatriation of those residing unlawfully. Moreover, such decisive action may go a long way in restoring public trust in the integrity of our immigration system, reassuring citizens that the rules are being enforced fairly and consistently.

(It was a strong ruling which others should take note of)

SHOW SOME HUSTLE

Why are Vlad Guerrero and Bo Bichette not required to run out routine ground balls? The Blue Jays are fun to watch and playing some impressive baseball of late. Hustle is infectious. With an annual salary that I would struggle to pronounce, Guerrero should be running as fast as he can wherever he goes, including the food truck. Bichette used to be a lot faster in previous years. He now runs like he’s got cramps. The Jays need to trade both of them if they’re going to succeed.

WRONG LANE

Well, first bike lanes caused more gridlock to Toronto traffic and now it’ll be dedicated bus lanes! Get rid of both! Let the mayor ride her bike on the sidewalk! Such a vehicle-unfriendly city!

CARE FOR CANADA

Funny how Carney has no concern over the humanitarian crisis in Canada, yet injects his opinion into Israel. Our dollar is still terrible with him in charge, and this fiscal genius still can’t get it over Trudeau’s peak. All of this, of course, was on his watch as Trudeau’s fiscal advisor.
