TAXED TO THE MAX

So much of the media (at least the very good media like the Toronto Sun, etc.) warned us not to vote Liberal, but it seems either Canadians are so gullible or the landscape and demographics are shifting and people think they can get free stuff, all the while paying higher taxes all over the place and having our rights trampled on. Will they ever learn? Time to get people into politics who know how to relate to sensible voters and who can explain that they can have a better life … and not give so much of their hard-earned money to the government!

GROWING PAINS

Toronto Sun readers, get a grip, get some academic depth. Negotiation of a trade agreement is a give and take. In the Digital Service Tax, Canada gave up a source of taxation worth $20 billion a year. Small thing to give up. Taxes are anti-business growth.

WHAT A HEEL

Re “Carney a ‘bootlicker’ for Trump’s demands” (Kinsella, July 3): It didn’t take long for (Mark) Carney’s facade to slip and reveal his winkin’, blinkin’ and noddin’ natural stance. No elbows up. No backbone. He just copies and pastes others election platforms, tough-boy stances and then shows his lack of political experience. He plays rube to (Donald) Trump’s used car salesman-style deals that are pure baloney. Maybe he should start a GoFundMe to finance a spine transplant.

WHAT A MESS

We are now living with the effects of bad policies of the Liberal government for the past 10 years, mostly due to out-of-control immigration, a cause-and-effect housing shortage, a huge debt by supporting immigrants, health-care shortages due to overuse by immigrants and finally no jobs for young people anymore because of your unskilled immigrants coming to our country to take these jobs. When are we going to wise up and stop this madness? Sooner or later, this will blow up.

(To borrow a line from SCTV: She blowed up real good.)
