WHO IS SUPPORTING THIS GUY?
A recent poll suggested that the Trudeau Liberals are supported by 24% of the electorate: Such is actually exceedingly concerning. One must wonder who could support a government that has plunged Canada into a financial abyss, by squandering tens of billions of dollars on worthless projects. Why would anyone support an untruthful outfit that has punished citizens with a crippling carbon tax, while suggesting that 80% of Canadians are better off because of it, despite data showing the exact opposite? How could anyone vote for a prime minister who has been caught in scandal after scandal, and has employed every means possible to conceal his activities? Do people advocate for Justin Trudeau when he lectures Canadians about their “carbon footprint,” then flies in a private jet to luxury vacation spots around the globe, primarily on the taxpayers’ dime? Like their arrogant, narcissistic leader, I believe the federal Liberals are corrupt, incompetent, hypocritical and condescending: Why would anyone support them? Are these 24% of voters oblivious to reality?

(Fortress Toronto and parts of Quebec have stuck with Trudeau through all of his many failings. Perhaps come election time next year they will have a change of heart.)
SUNNY DAYS
Brian Lilley is right (“3 hot months? In a row?!” June 20), it’s June and supposed to be hot! For those who don’t have air conditioning, a good electric fan is easy to find at nearly every retail store. Even a small one to sit right next to you. Tap water you stored in the fridge is lovely and cold to refresh and hydrate you. I resent the high cost of electricity and this weather is perfect for drying clothes in a hurry without the dryer. Embrace the benefits — at least it’s not snowing!

(Exactly right. It will be soon enough when we get to complain about the cold weather. Enjoy the warmth while it lasts.)
JOE HAS GIVEN UP
Does anyone else think Joe Biden should use Linkin Park’s Given Up as his next campaign song? It pretty much suits him to a T.

(Accurate. It’s actually very sad to watch his decline yet the Democrats are running him.)
