JAYS FANS DESERVE BETTER

Let’s hope the Blue Jays’ opening loss of 12-2 isn’t indicative of what we can expect after the questionable moves Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins made to the team this season. It’s ten years and counting for Rogers to endure these two to come up with a winner. A multimillion-dollar renovated stadium does not count. The fans are getting restless.

(And that renovated stadium will have a lot of empty seats if the Jays don’t improve)

SIGN VLADDY NOW!

Now that baseball is upon us, I hope that the upper management will do the right thing and get Vladdy that extension he deserves, and soon. If not, then it’s time to get rid of Laurel and Hardy, aka Shapiro and Atkins. I know that it’s just the start of the season but the sooner it’s done, it will be harder to do than waiting until the trade deadline rolls around.

PLEASE CANADA, DON’T FALL FOR THE LIBS

Unfortunately, I am a bit scared, but not surprised, that the generally left-leaning populace of Canada is falling for the old ‘only we can save you from what we have done to you over the past decade’ from the Liberals. Their lies about Poilievre being a rollover for Trump have been swallowed hook, line and sinker. Canada’s illogical fear of the right will hopefully not be so great as to allow another Liberal government. Cutting your nose off to spite your face never works.

CARNEY’S PHONY CANADIANA

Mark Carney has a pretty skewed idea of what a Canadian is. Mr. Dressup and his puppet friends, Bud the Spud, Howie Meeker, Regina, The Tragically Hip, hockey analogies, and two seasons in Toronto. That’s what Carney thinks is a Canadian. Pretty pathetic — and he’s courting celebrity endorsements, just like Trump.
