Stephen Harper had it right all along — that “Justin Trudeau just isn’t ready” slogan back in 2015. Now, Pierre Poilievre has accurately said that Mark Carney will fold to Donald Trump on tariffs. Both have happened. When will Eastern Canada learn?

EAST-WEST TRADE

I would like to offer a trade to you Eastern Canada voters. We’ll give you the Edmonton Oilers for the choking Leafs and you give us a chance to run the country right with Pierre Poilievre in power. I guarantee the Leafs would win with Western backing and the country would too. You guys are clueless out there.

HOCKEY GODS PUNISHMENT

As a life-long Leaf hater, l have a theory why this dysfunctional team crashes and burns every spring. The hockey gods are a vindictive political bunch. They will continue to punish this team as payback for Torontonians for their major role in electing far-left lunatics like Trudeau, Olivia Chow and Carney. So, Leaf Nation, the elusive Stanley Cup could be yours — if you stop voting for politicians who are as effective as your Game 7 results these last nine years! Go Oilers go!

LACKLUSTRE INDUSTRIES

I wish the people of Canada would wake up to the change in America’s view of the world economy. They have done a 180. They’ve returned to the economy of the closed trade door policy that is like Russia’s vision today. All things U.S.A., in U.S.A. and for U.S.A. This change is stunning. With one stroke Canada’s car industry, aluminum industry, oil and gas industry is not important to them and are as good as gone from Canada.

(The question is what is Canada doing about it? So far nothing)
