TERROR-FRIENDLY LIBERALS

Why does the Liberal government support terrorists so strongly? I have not seen any former Iranian officials being turfed out of the country. I see the Canadian government supporting Hamas over our ally, Israel. Rest assured, if terrorists attacked Canada and kidnapped a bunch of citizens, raped women and burned children alive in front of their parents, the Liberals would be happy to let them go and live in peace. Their position is disgusting.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

About Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, truth be known, this was not the first cover-up. Ronald Reagan suffered the same halfway through his second term and the current U.S. president’s cognitive abilities are of serious question, leaving the Republican Party guilty of the same offence and all the medical professionals who work for the government. The problem runs deep within the administration and needs independent scrutiny.

UNITE TO FIGHT

Re the May 23 Letters to the Editor from Albertans: Dear Albertans, Not every Canadian east of Manitoba votes Liberal, so maybe stop the blame game and consider how frustrating it is for those who don’t. The Conservatives made gains out this way in the recent federal election and several ridings flipped. It’s a start, anyway. Comments like “You guys are clueless out there” and “When will Eastern Canada learn?” are annoying — and why bring the Leafs into the political mix? (That’s a whole other conversation.) Bottom line is, our country needs to stay strong and unified, including Alberta (despite what Danielle Smith says), especially now!

(Well, let’s hope the Oilers unite the country)

DON’T BETT ON IT

If Nashville, Raleigh, Columbus and the New York area (three) can support NHL clubs, then the Greater Toronto Area market can surely accommodate an additional franchise.

(Gary Bettman’s vision only includes hockey hotbeds like Utah and Atlanta)
