FILL IT IN ON YOUR OWN
Re “Y’all ready for cis?” (Denette Wilford, Sept. 26): So, if I wish to register for city-run programs, I am no longer permitted to identify myself as a male because that would offend parts of the population. Newly minted genders are permitted to be selected, as they should be. In the interest of not offending people, the gender description that best fits 99.9% of humans born with male genitalia, and with which they most identify, is no longer permitted. Wouldn’t it be more inclusive to allow people to enter their own gender using a keyboard?

A DEFENSIVE EMBARRASSMENT
NATO has requested that all allies begin a strategic look at their defensive capabilities as preparations for possible various regional wars. What a joke Canada is, we can’t even send the most updated military equipment to our soldiers in Latvia serving under the NATO banner because we don’t have this equipment. What this government has not done to meet NATO commitments is an embarrassment for all Canadians. Poilievre, when you become our PM, I hope you retract what you have said about meeting our NATO commitments and get ‘er done. Make Canadians proud again. What I am saying is no reflection on our men and women in the Canadian Forces. You make us proud. I am talking about the lack of military equipment like fighter jets, submarines, personal protective equipment, updated NORAD, and the list goes on. But, Trudeau and Joly, you keep your support for Hamas and Hezbollah.

SEPARATISTS REIGN
It is unbelievable that a political party only represents Quebec’s interests and has one thing in mind — the separation of the country. This party borders on treasonous policies and should never have been allowed to sit in Parliament as they are not a Canada-wide party but regional. Time to stop the tail wagging the dog.
