Re “Simcoe woman in shock over squirt-gun assault charge” (Joe Warmington, Sept.13): Seriously? It’s water. It dries without staining. And is the offending “weapon” going to be seized and melted down, like all of the other guns police seize? Just asking.

(It is astonishing that with all crimes being committed, this is what the cops focused on. Shocking waste of time and resources)

TRUDEAU GOOD AT DOING A BAD JOB

All the people criticizing Justin Trudeau may be surprised to learn the PM actually may agree with them. I think any reasonable person who believed they were doing a good job running the country would be proud of their accomplishments and would be willing to call an election to get the people’s endorsement so they could deliver more good government. Currently, I think Trudeau knows he’s screwed up the country and he has no idea how to fix it. So, being the coward he is, Trudeau has decided to ride the Gravy Train as long as he can, enjoying all the perks and privileges of being pampered as prime minister to the last possible moment. The only problem with his plan is that Canada gets closer to Armageddon every day that this failure is in office.

(It’s possible he has some self awareness, but it’s more plausible Trudeau believes things are just fine and if only his Liberal government communicated better, somehow things would be fine)

JUSTIN OUT OF TOUCH

Despite every “Sunny Ways” photo-op and announcement set up by the Prime Minister, any goodwill is completely erased by every voter’s last trip to the grocery store. Skyrocketing prices have become so unbearable and the high prices will be even worse this winter. There is not a single item in the store that has not had the price affected by the carbon taxes that every truck has to pay to bring these essential food products to each and every Canadian. It’s doubtful if our pampered Prime Minister has even stepped foot in a grocery store in the last year. Loving parents, who are hungry because they have to skip meals to ensure their children can have enough food on their plate, will remember their hunger – and the Liberal Party that imposed it on them – when they step into the voting booth in the next election.

(As things stand now, it’s likely the election is at least a year away. A lot can happen in that time, however Canadians’ negative perspective of Trudeau likely won’t change)
