Casa Loma is always magical, one of the city’s most impressive architectural masterpieces. This 200,000 square foot marvel was, upon a time, the largest private residence in the country, and today hosts seasonal events and greets visitors throughout the year.
With nearly 100 rooms, secret passageways, and elaborately decorated spaces adorned with authentic period furnishings, the Gothic Revival mansion is breathtaking any time of year, but in particular, its expansive gardens and pavilion are transformed into a magical wonderful fitting of any storybook. And this season, Casa Loma brings back its beloved holiday events, for even more memorable experiences for its loyal audiences.

Christmas at the Castle began on December 5, and will run to January 4, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission permitted at 4:30 p.m. Families are invited to bask in the holiday magic, surrounded by exquisite holiday decor which includes a stunning 20-foot-tall tree in the Great Hall. Throughout the castle, eight additional signature trees will be on display, decorated by talented Canadian designers.
Little ones are welcome to visit Santa in his workshop, where they can participate in craftmaking and arts, while being visited by magical holiday mascots. Throughout the day, kids and their families can enjoy numerous performances and activities, including indoor musical shows, interactive magic displays, as well as holiday-themed aerial performances.
At night fall, the gardens and tunnels of Casa Loma come to life with the Holiday Lights Tour. Running select evenings between December 5 and January 4, between 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. (with last admission permitted at 9 p.m.), walk through a winter wonderland with the self-guided open-air tour taking visitors through the most spectacular light displays on journey with actors, carollers, mascots, and a fire guy.

“Casa Loma is a crown jewel in the city,” says Nadia Di Donato, Vice President and Creative Director of Liberty Entertainment Group. “The holiday season is such a magical time, and we’re constantly inspired to create new and exhilarating experiences.”
Offering once again the most luminous holiday adventure of the year, this immersive set of events in the majestic halls of Casa Loma are guaranteed to enchant visitors of every age. It’s also intended to inspire the holiday spirit, so guests are encouraged to donate wrapped presents for underprivileged children as part of the castle’s annual toy drive.

While walk-ins are welcome, advanced tickets are recommended for all events. For more information, visit casaloma.ca
