In announcing its 2023 broadcast plans on Wednesday, Rogers Sportsnet unveiled some upheaval in the ranks alongside the welcome news that analyst Buck Martinez is returning to the booth.
Martinez will join play-by-play man Dan Shulman, who is increasing his Jays workload this season. As well, after getting rid of Pat Tabler, the network announced that studio host Joe Siddall will work alongside Shulman as game analyst for “select series.”
While Shulman will call the majority of games, it’s expected Raptors play-by-play man Matt Devlin will fill in for a portion of the schedule.
The biggest change comes at field level where Arash Madani will be replaced by Arden Zwelling in reporting duties. Hazel Mae returns in that role, providing updates from the clubhouse and dugout.

As well, Ben Wagner will return as radio voice calling all 162 games although current plans do not have him travelling for road games.
The network plans to produce all 16 Jays home games from spring training, a move the Jays front office has pushed to have over the past several seasons.
