Brink’s mother Michelle — who was a guest on the episode along with Brink’s teammate Dearica Hamby — was stunned by her admission but admitted that she “loves” that her daughter is confident in her body.
That said, Michelle, who played basketball for Virginia Tech, said if she was given the opportunity when she was playing, she would have passed.
Hamby agreed, joking that usually covers her chest while walking around the locker room, to which Michelle said she “never got to that point as an athlete.”
Brink, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft behind Caitlin Clark, has yet to play this season for the sparks after undergoing surgery on a torn ACL in June 2024.
But the athlete has kept busy working in the fashion industry.

However, one fan accused Brink of prioritizing “red carpets and schmoozing” over rehab for her injury.
“She should’ve been back on the court now, and something tells me that if she put as much work into rehab as she puts into walking down red carpets and schmoozing, she’d be back by now,” the fan commented earlier this month, which Brink shared on her Instagram Stories.
The commenter also noted that the former Stanford star made “public appearances with no brace, crutches or anything” after her surgery.
Brink claimed she usually doesn’t “give energy to this type of stuff,” she slammed the commenter as “not a real fan.”
The Sparks have struggled without Brink on the court, sitting in second-last place in the western conference with a 5-12 so far this season.
Brink played 15 games before her injury, averaging 21.9 minutes per night and putting up 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
