Fox News reported football fans weren’t having any of James’ support of Watson, who returned to action following being suspended for more than half a season after being hit with multiple accusations of sexual assault.
While a majority of the lawsuits against Watson were settled and he wasn’t criminally prosecuted, he is still a villain in the eyes of some social media users.

“I know LeBron grew up a Browns fan but I’m surprised Deshaun Watson is a person he’s publicly supporting,” another weighed in.
James had previously supported the Dallas Cowboys, and denounced his fandom to the team because of the way owner Jerry Jones handled protests during the national anthem a few years ago.
One fan didn’t forget that.
