Trouble is continuing for Jontay Porter’s family.
Less than three weeks after his brother Coban Porter was sentenced to prison time following a fatal car crash and Jontay Porter was suspended from the NBA for life, brother Jevon Porter reportedly was arrested for alleged drinking and driving and speeding.

Online records from the Missouri State Highway Patrol say Jevon Porter was arrested at 1:30 a.m. April 27 in Boone County, Mo., and later released on a summons.
Jevon played the past two seasons of college basketball at Pepperdine, averaging 16.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season.
Coban, 22, and Jevon, 20, are the younger brothers of former Raptors big man Jontay Porter and Denver Nuggets’ Michael Porter Jr.

Jontay, who was on a two-way contract with the Raptors, was found to have influenced outcomes of prop bets related to his own play.
On two occasions, the Raptors role player was one of the most bet-on players in the NBA with the majority of action coming on Unders. During the related games, Porter removed himself from the contests early on.
Coban was sentenced on April 19 to six years in the Colorado Department of Corrections in relation to a fatal crash near the University of Denver in January 2023.
Coban Porter admitted at his hearing that he was drunk when he ran a red light and struck another vehicle. The driver, a 42-year-old mother, was killed in the accident while another passenger in her car was seriously hurt.
Porter Jr., who won an NBA championship with the Nuggets last year, is getting set for the second round of this year’s playoffs. Denver opens its series with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.
