With the lowly Charlotte Hornets in town to face the Raptors at Scotiabank Arena, a fan named Liam was given a chance to win season tickets.

All he had to do was sink a half-court shot at the halftime break.
“One shot for season seat tickets next year,” said Raptors in-arena host Mariah Amber.
The fan dribbled the ball a couple of times before he ran up to the half-court line and launched the basketball into the air.
Swoosh. Nothing but net.

The fan began celebrating on the court and was mobbed by members of the Raptors YYZ game experience crew.
“Congratulations,” exclaimed Amber. “You saw that, right?”

The Raptors social media account was astonished by the perfect shot.
“No way,” the team wrote on X alongside an exploding head emoji.
The NBA also shared the improbable bucket, explaining that the season tickets have now been secured by the fan.

No word yet if the fan will be signing a 10-day contract with the Raptors, who easily handled the Hornets 126-96.
