Yet as much as she regrets hitting send on a tweet, golf influencer Paige Spiranac still chose violence when she left a critique posted about Will Zalatoris’ performance at the WGC-Dell Match Play from Wednesday up for the world to see.

And boy did she let her followers go wild.
It all started with a seemingly innocent tweet with a 10-second video of Zalatoris, who missed a putt 10 feet away from the hole. A seemingly annoyed Zalatoris then moved his putter to keep the ball from rolling away from the cup.
Others chose to focus on the golf and replied with their own critiques of Zalatoris’ play or defence of it.
Spiranac is used to the online trolling after launching a successful online fanbase after quitting professional golf. The 29-year-old influencer has more than 3.7 million Instagram followers and has a lucrative subscription-based content site for her fans, OnlyPaige.
