Paulina Gretzky celebrates Dustin Johnson’s $4-million LIV win on private jet

Dustin Johnson had his first win on the LIV Golf tour and wife Paulina Gretzky was with him to celebrate.

Gretzky shared photos and videos on her Instagram Stories from the first hole of the sudden-death playoff – the tour’s first ever playoff hole – in which Johnson made a 35-foot eagle putt to snatch the $4-million victory from Joaquin Niemann and Anirban Lahiri.

It also marked DJ’s first win in 19 months.

“I got excited at the end,” Gretzky captioned one video of Johnson making a putt.

She also shared clips of her and her husband of four-and-a-half months walking to the clubhouse after his big win, and Johnson holding his trophy.

The social media festivities also included photos of Gretzky and Johnson celebrating with a smooch on a private jet.

Also on board were Paulina’s best friend, Kristina Melnichenko, Matt Forssman, Dustin’s brother and caddy, Austin Johnson, his wife Sam, and golfer Niemann.

“LFG!!!! UNBELIEVABLE,” Paulina’s brother, Trevor Gretzky, posted over a clip of the winning shot.

Johnson was the the first big name to leave the PGA Tour for LIV Golf back in June for a reported $125 million.

It was a shocking move but also paved the way for other golfers to join him on the Saudi-funded rival tour.

Johnson’s win comes as former PGA Tour players who switched over to LIV Golf were informed they are ineligible to renew their Tour memberships for the 2022-23 season.

Those who chose to quit the PGA Tour include Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith.

Mickelson is one of seven golfers (there were originally 11 but four have since dropped out) who are suing the PGA Tour, challenging their suspension.
