Tiger Woods caddies for 13-year-old son, Charlie

Behind some great up-and-coming golfers is a legendary one.

This past weekend, Tiger Woods took a backseat on the green to work as caddy for his 13-year-old son, Charlie, during the Notah Begay III Junior National Golf Championship in Florida.

According to the Daily Mail, Woods — with a big smile on his face as his son golfed — caddied as Charlie carded a career-low 68 at the tournament.

The golf talent may be in the genes as Charlie even shot two birdies and an eagle on the par-5 14th.

Speaking to media after the event, Charlie — who tied for fourth in the boys’ 12-13 competition — said his father told him “to stay patient.”

“Just play steady golf. Just stay patient, play, focus on each shot, don’t look too far ahead. Stay in the game,” Charlie said his dad advised.

Team Woods has been a part of the PNC Championship in recent years. Last year, the father-son team placed second at the event.

The elder Woods last competed in July at the 150th Open Championship.
