Gardiner won two NCAA national championships with the Ohio State Buckeyes, including 2023-24, when she finished as the team’s second-leading scorer with 45 points.

“Jennifer had an excellent academic career. In addition to being productive, she has learned to win and we are delighted to add a player of her calibre to our lineup,” said general manager Danièle Sauvageau in a statement. “We expect her to fit very well with our offense, and we look forward to seeing her wear our colours.”
The 22-year-old from Surrey, B.C., was one of 10 finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award as the NCAA’s Most Outstanding Player in 2023 after scoring 21 goals and 57 points in 41 games.
