Mitch Marner by the numbers in Maple Leafs' Top 10

It seemed you couldn’t go anywhere in Toronto the past few years and not see Mitch Marner’s mug.
His highlight reel passes were part of broadcast teasers and billboards, while game night would have him cavorting with Auston Matthews with trick shots, and trading pucks for candy or treats for Marner’s dog as the last players exiting warm-up. Marner was shown at the front of the high-five parade in the tunnel before each period and as assistant captain, spoke after just about every contest, win or lose.
His Marner Assist Foundation has been a huge philanthropic part of GTA life and will endure. But now he’ll only be playing at Scotiabank Arena once a year, calling home the Las Vegas desert.
