Davidson, who was banned from competing in NXXT Golf tournaments earlier this year, posted on her Instagram saying: “I will never understand athletes who blame a transgender competitor on their own athletic failures.
“If you don’t take accountability for your failures then you will never actually be good enough to make it.”
Davidson has been sharing videos of practice work for Q School, a potential pathway to the LPGA tour.
The Scotland-born golfer clinched a spot as first alternate for the U.S. Women’s Open in May, resulting in a backlash from a female golfer, according to the Daily Mail.
One of the female golfers who competed in the qualifier in Florida claimed the decision to allow Davidson to compete in qualifying and potentially have a shot at the U.S. Open was unjust.

Davidson last competed as a male golfer in 2015, after which, she began hormone therapy treatments and underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2021.
