So why would anyone believe that he wouldn’t do the same when it came time to pop the question to longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez?

After eight years together, it appears that the Portuguese soccer star and Rodriguez officially are engaged — and it’ll be very hard for anyone to miss the hardware.

In post to her Instagram account on Monday, Rodriguez shared a photo of her hand adorned with an engagement ring featuring a massive diamond, resting on top of Ronaldo’s hand in bed.

“Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” she wrote in a translated caption with the location tagged in Riyadh.

The sparkler features a giant, oval-shaped diamond.

It’s not like the price of such an extravagant bauble would give the soccer star a cause for pause. Ronaldo, 40, earns a reported $319 million per season playing for Al-Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia.

He joined the Saudi PIF-funded club in 2023 after leaving Manchester United of the English Premier League.

The couple first confirmed their relationship in 2017 and share four children together — twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 8, Alana, 7, Bella, 3 – while Ronaldo has a 15-year-old son, Cristiano Jr., from a previous relationship.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez previously had announced the death of Ángel, Bella’s newborn twin brother, in April 2022.

During Rodriguez’s Netflix series, I am Georgina, the couple shared details about the early years of their relationship, when she was a Gucci store assistant.

In the show Ronaldo said, translated from Portuguese, that he thought Rodriguez was a “very interesting girl, so much more mature for her age.”

“Many times he’d come after work,” Rodriguez said. “He would come, I remember once, in a Bugatti. My co-workers went crazy. They get there on the bus and I would leave in a Bugatti. I mean, people couldn’t believe it.”
