It certainly seems like Federico Balzaretti’s wife isn’t a fan of one of his coworkers.
Balzaretti’s wife, Eleonora Abbagnato, has claimed that Diletta Leotta put “her a** in his face” and warned her about her “exuberant” behaviour.

Leotta, a presenter on DAZN in Italy and wife of ex-Liverpool goalkeeper Lorius Karius, was called out by the retired ballerina, who previously had expressed her jealousy but hadn’t named the offending woman in question.
Abbagnato had said that a “beautiful woman” with “curves” had made her “jealous” with the alleged act during an appearance on a TV game show in Italy.

But now the former dancer has confirmed that her comments were targeted at the popular DAZN host.
“Yes, that woman was Diletta Leotta. I love my husband like the first day and I’m jealous,” Abbagnato told Storie di donne al bivio via Chi magazine.
“In Milan, some time ago, I happened to meet Leotta who, working at DAZN with Federico, seemed to have excessive familiarity with him.
“I immediately took off and introduced myself in a very formal way: ‘Pleased to meet you, I’m his wife.’”
Abbagnato says that romantic rumours involving Balzaretti and Leotta made her jealous.
“Diletta has those curves that I don’t have, but it was the memes that were circulating on the web, depicting her and my husband in love, that drove me crazy.
“I respect my husband, I trust him, he loves me like when we met, but we are so good together also because I am very careful about anything that could alter our understanding.
“Between her and Federico there has never been anything other than work, but Diletta is an exuberant woman, sure of her charm and I wanted to make things clear immediately. The wife is me and that’s it.”
Abbagnato married former Italian soccer star Balzaretti in 2011 before his retirement in 2015. He started working with Leotta on DAZN in 2019 and also has served in management roles with a couple Italian clubs.
Abbagnato had made her original comments on the show Truth or Dare when asked about “the most absurd fight” she had ever had.
“When Federico worked on TV with a beautiful girl, I was very jealous,” she told host Alessia Marcuzzi.
“She put her a** in his face,” Abbagnato added. “Unfortunately, I don’t have her curves.”
At the time, Abbagnato refused to name the woman who had prompted her jealousy, but told the studio “you are all in love with her.”
Leotta and Karius married this past June and has continued as a host for the sports streaming service despite her goalkeeper husband moving to German side Schalke.
