SUPER BOWL PICK: Eagles will end the Chiefs’ incredible dynasty runBack to video

The Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of making history, but we just can’t back them, despite everything we’ve seen in the past. And that goes for the past few years and for this past season.
Why won’t we be backing Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Andy Reid? Because the Philadelphia Eagles just have too much talent.
As far as rosters go, teams just don’t get more complete than the squad that the Eagles trot out on game day. There’s a ton of talent in every unit, while the Chiefs have a few holes, especially on the offensive line and with depth at defensive back.
The big mismatch sees Jalen Carter, who after fading late in his rookie season, has only gotten better down the stretch this year. He’ll be a force to reckoned with and the Chiefs will have issues containing him.

The Eagles also have one of the game’s most explosive players in the game with Saquon Barkley. He’s primed to break one loose at any time against one of the league’s best offensive lines.
And when it gets down to short yardage, there’s always the Tush Push to get the Eagles across the line for a score or a new set of downs.
Of course, there’s no denying the Chiefs’ infrastructure and the coaching staff’s ability to put the team in position to win close games. Just look at all of the close games that K.C. has eked out this season – aided by conspiracy theories or not – but the old saying is that to be lucky, you have to be good.

But, this is where the luck runs out. When the Chiefs beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl two years ago, they sealed it on a dubious penalty call.
This time, we think that the Eagles will have learned their lesson from that defeat and get some revenge.
And, if they can’t, it’ll be fun to watch history be made.
