J.D. Martinez OVER 0.5 Home Runs +390, Caesars (Wager: 1 unit to win 4.5 units)
On pace for his best season since 2019, the 35-year-old Martinez has turned back the clock in his first year with Los Angeles.
Martinez has 10 homers, with eight of them coming against right-handed pitching.
He’s slugging .667 vs. RHP this year and will take on Nationals starter Trevor Williams.
Williams has allowed 1.96 HR/9 vs. right-handed batters this season and has allowed more power to righties than lefties in his career.
The fly-ball tendencies of both Williams and Martinez should benefit the Dodgers slugger in this matchup.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. OVER 1.5 Total Bases +110, BetMGM (Wager: 1 unit to win 1.1 units)
It’s a small sample size, but Rockies starter Karl Kauffman has been crushed by right-handed hitting.
He has faced 25 righty batters and has allowed 10 hits and a mind-boggling slash line of .526/.600/.789.
Kauffman will face the Diamondbacks in Arizona today and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. will be who I’m looking at.
Gurriel Jr. has batted .293 with a .593 SLG% vs. righty pitchers this year.
His hard-hit rate vs. righties sits at a strong 41.4% as well.
Even if Kauffman doesn’t last long in this game, Gurriel Jr. should still have advantageous matchups against a Rockies bullpen that has the sixth-worst ERA (4.65) in the Major Leagues.
Nolan Gorman OVER 0.5 RBI +145, DraftKings (Wager: 1 unit to win 1.45 units)
The Cardinals’ second baseman has had a strong sophomore season, leading St. Louis in homers, RBI and SLG%.
St. Louis will square off against their cross-state rivals in the Kansas City Royals.
The Royals will throw reliever Josh Staumont as an opener before going to righty Mike Mayers to get the bulk innings.
Mayers is having a nice start to the year (2.45 ERA) but historically has been a below-average pitcher.
Gorman has raked against righties this season batting .285 with a .563 SLG%.
St. Louis has an implied total of six runs in this game and Gorman should have plenty of opportunities to drive in at least one run.
