WASHINGTON COMMANDERS (7-3) at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (7-2)
The list of victims is mostly unimpressive (Browns, Jets, Bengals, Jaguars, Cowboys) but since their bye the Eagles are 5-0 while averaging 29.4 points scored and 13 allowed. The once high-flying Commanders are starting to sag a bit, with one-score wins over the lowly Bears and Giants and a loss to the Steelers in their last three. While both teams have a Top 6 offence, the Eagles ‘D’ has soared to a No. 2 ranking. Don’t be afraid of the hook – Eagles have won 11 of the last 14 meetings and the trend will continue.
