The latest edition of ‘The Match’ is set for December 10, when four of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars head to Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
Tiger Woods — making his third appearance — is teaming up with good friend and World No. 1 Rory McIlroy and will take on the familiar American pairing of Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth in a 12-hole match.

The dynamic duo of Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth opened as -120 favorites to win this edition of The Match and have since shifted to -125. There may not be two golfers more familiar with one another than JT and Spieth, having played countless Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup matches as a pair to incredible success.
Despite Rory McIlroy’s red-hot form and World No. 1 status, it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen Tiger Woods play (missed the cut at The Open) and he’s most likely the weakest link of the four at the moment. As such, the pairing is listed as a slight +105 underdog.

The Match takes place at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. The course plays as a Par 70 at up to 7,000 yards and is designed with Donald Ross’ original layout in mind. The course also hosts the Pelican Women’s Championship (Nov. 10-13 this year).
