Sadistic killer stepmom scores day passes
A Toronto woman convicted of murdering her seven-year-old stepson in one of Canada’s worst cases of child abuse was cleared to leave prison without supervision so she can adjust to life in a halfway house. Dooley is serving a life sentence after she and her husband Tony Dooley were convicted of second-degree murder in 2002 for the death of Tony’s seven-year-old son, Randal. Marcia could seek parole after 18 years and her husband after 13. The trial judge, Justice Eugene Ewaschuk, called the case “one of the worst cases of child abuse in Canadian history” and dubbed the helpless victim, “poor, pitiful Randal.” Dooley, 49, is barred from taking a position of trust over minors and from contacting any of her stepson’s relatives or her co-convicted murderer, Tony Dooley.
