Luxury brands, particularly in the automotive segment, tend to launch halo-grade vehicles or features with much fanfare, such as Cadillac has done with its hyper-exclusive, hyper-expensive dreadnought-class Celestiq. In time, features and options from such efforts generally trickle down to other models in the line—and that’s exactly what the brand is doing with its new “Curated by Cadillac” program.

Launching on (and presently exclusive to) the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing, the program is a bucks-deluxe way for moneyed customers to add an enormous layer of customization and personalization to their new V8-powered sports sedan. How much personalization, you ask? For starters, the program opens up an expanded palette of more than 160 colours, including high-gloss and frost finishes. Each one is said to be hand-painted by skilled technicians at the Warren Tech Center, and hew to show-quality standards—just like the Celestiq.

“Curated by Cadillac embodies our commitment to delivering an elevated level of customization,” said John Roth, vice-president, Global Cadillac. “Drawing upon experience from the ultra-luxury, hand-built Celestiq, we are now offering a limited number of CT5-V Blackwing customers an opportunity to create a vehicle that is as unique as their own story.”

The tweaks continue inside, with cabin materials and seat upholstery now part of a massively expanded selection that can be mixed and matched into approximately eleventy brazillion combinations. Okay, okay—the crew at Cadillac simply says “millions,” but you get the idea.

Taking inspiration from the build process behind the bespoke Celestiq (pictured above) customers fronting for the Curated by Cadillac experience will be walked through the design by a concierge with a design background, trained to work with individual clients to create and carry out their unique vision for the car.

None of this comes cheap, of course. Parking in your driveway a 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing that’s gone through the Curated by Cadillac program will cost at least US$158,000, a sum approximately 50% higher than a CT5-V Blackwing without said customization. Exclusivity doesn’t come cheap. Orders will begin late August 2025 through select dealers.
