During a Buenos Aires stop on her Eras Tour last weekend, the pop star switched up the lyrics in her closing song in a nod to her burgeoning relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”
Predictably, fans in the crowd and social media went wild during the moment and on Wednesday’s episode of his New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, Travis shared his thoughts on Taylor’s sweet shoutout to him.
Jason asked his brother, “How does it feel to officially be ‘the guy on the Chiefs?’” which prompted Travis to reply, “You mean Karma?”
Travis then said he might have been give “a little bit of a clue” that Swift planned to pay tribute to him during the show.

“Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, (it) still shocked me,” Travis said. “She really just said that.”

“You were so shocked you left Scott (Swift, Taylor’s dad) hanging,” Jason replied. “Scott’s over here looking for a high-five.”
“Mr. Swift, I apologize big guy,” Travis said, sheepishly. “I never miss a high-five. I’m a big high-five guy. It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event. So, sorry Mr. Swift.”
Travis went on to add that Taylor’s most recent concert was “even more electric … Taylor absolutely ripped it. She killed it.”
After the show ended, Taylor was videoed by fans running into Travis’ arms with the two embracing one another and sharing a sweet kiss.
The insider added that “the crowd in the restaurant briefly cheered as they walked out” and that “Travis was beaming.”
Jason noted that Scott, who has long supported his Philadelphia Eagles team, may have switched allegiances and started cheering for Travis’ Chiefs after he noted he was wearing a Kansas City lanyard.
“You’re gonna let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott?” Jason said.
“I might have persuaded him at dinner the night before when I met him,” Travis replied.
