The beer, described as as “golden, medium-bodied Mexican-style lager that is light, crisp and refreshing with just a touch of sweetness,” is now available for retail, restaurant and bar locations in Ontario.
“If there are two things that I know, it’s that Canadians love a great beer and they know how to rock,” said Hagar in a statement.
“I can’t wait to share a toast and party with the Toronto Red Heads of the Great White North when our Best of All Worlds tour hits Canada!”
Hagar says Red Rocker Lager will roll out across Canada in the coming months with the Detroit-based brewery partnering with Ontario’s Railway City Brewery to brew and distribute it across the country.
Since launching in Detroit in October 2023, Red Rocker Lager is now available in Mexico, Michigan, California and Nevada, where the brew recently made its grand debut at Hagar’s Sammy’s Island at Palms Pool in Las Vegas.

Since opening his flagship Cabo Wabo Cantina in 1990, Hagar’s spirits include Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, a partnership with rock icon Rick Springfield, Santo Spirits, and a partnership with tastemaker Guy Fieri, Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktails.
Hagar plays Toronto on July 31 with Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani, and drummer Jason Bonham with Vancouver ‘80s rock act Loverboy opening.
The tour follows the release of The Collection II, a Van Halen box set featuring newly remastered versions of the four consecutive No. 1 albums released during the Hagar era of the band between 1986-1995 with many hits that haven’t been played live since the band’s 2004 reunion tour.
