Durham Regional Police officers were called last Friday at about 10:10 p.m. to the Griffiths and Delaney Drs. area for an armed person call. Officers arrived on scene and found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police said the victim was approached by the suspects as he returned to a residence in the area. After a brief interaction, the victim was stabbed multiple times.
Cops said four male suspects fled on foot.
The victim was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
This is believed to be an isolated incident.
The four suspects are described as Black men, about 20 years old. Two were wearing a black medical-style mask with a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt and two were wearing a black medical-style mask with a grey hooded sweatshirt.

OSHAWA RMT CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT
A 59-year-old registered massage therapist (RMT) in Oshawa has been charged with sexual assault.
Durham Regional Police said on Monday, Jan. 27, the accused was employed as an RMT at a physiotherapy and wellness clinic in the Wilson Rd. N.-Taunton Rd. E. area.
During a massage, police alleged that the accused touched the victim inappropriately.
The accused, Franklin Jimenez, 59, of Oshawa, was arrested on Feb. 17 and charged with sexual assault.
Police said Jimenez has worked as an RMT for more than 20 years in several clinics arcoss Durham and the Greater Toronto Area. He is no longer employed at the Wilson Rd. N.-Taunton Rd. E. location.

Police are concerned there may be more victims. A photo of the accused has been released.

Hamilton Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting outside a home.
Cops said around 9:20 p.m., they responded to a residence at150 Sanford Ave. N. in Hamilton for a report of a shooting.
Police say they found damage consistent with a shooting at the home and based on a review of the available evidence, investigators believe that the shooting happened outside.

Authorities said numerous people were in the house during the shooting, however there are no reported injuries.

TORONTO MAN FACES ASSAULT CHARGE
A Toronto man wanted for an east-end assault earlier this month has been now been arrested.
Toronto Police responded on Monday, Feb. 10 at 3:44 a.m. for an assault call in the Pape and Danforth Aves. area.
It’s reported that a man assaulted the victim.
On Monday, Jevonn Smith, 30, turn himself into police. He was charged with assault, assault/choking, fail to comply with undertaking, and two counts of breach of conditional sentence order.
