It’s alleged that the accused was communicating online with a person under the age of 16, met and sexually assaulted the victim in person and created sexual abuse material.
On March 28, Toronto Police were granted a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Michael Parmiter, 41, and on April 10 he was arrested with the assistance of Surrey Police.
The accused has been charged with luring a person under 18 years of age, luring a person under 16 years of age, make available child pornography, possess child pornography, sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual assault – choking.

ACCUSED HIT WITH DOZENS OF CHARGES OVER ALLEGED LCBO HEISTS
A 42-year-old man is facing more than 100 charges while being accused of stealing about $30,000 worth of booze from the provincial liquor retailer.
Toronto Police said the incidents spanned nearly a calendar year — from April 13, 2024, to April 11, 2025 — and involved a male suspect entering various LCBO locations across Toronto before leaving the store with a “large quantity” of alcohol “without making attempts to pay.”
Satvir Singh Toor, 42, of no fixed address, was arrested Tuesday and charged with 33 counts each of theft under $5,000 and breach of probation as well as 70 counts of failure to comply with a release order.

SUSPECT SOUGHT IN OSHAWA ARMED ROBBERY
A male suspect is sought in connection with an armed robbery in Oshawa.
Durham Regional Police said that on April 6 at 4:45 a.m., they responded to a robbery at the Circle K located at 285 Park Rd. S.
Police alleged that the suspect entered the store holding a firearm and demanded the employee open the register and fill a gym bag with cigarettes.
No physical injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with an average build and wearing a black balaclava, sunglasses, a black sweater, black pants and white shoes.
