Cops identify suspect after victim shot by gun-toting scooter rider

Police officers are hunting a 24-year-old Toronto resident after a scooter riding gunman shot a victim in the east end on Sunday.

Moulay Adam Daniels is wanted for attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent, and other charges, Toronto Police reported on Monday.

When officers were called to a shooting in the Queen St.-Carlaw Ave. area around 3 p.m., they located a wounded man who was transported to a hospital.

The gunman fled on an electric scooter.

Daniels is described as 5-foot-8, with a medium build, dark hair and brown eyes.

Police warned members of the public to call 911 and not to approach Daniels if anyone spots him.
