CRIME SCENE: Ajax man accused of sexually assaulting another teen girl

A 30-year-old Ajax man who was charged in the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl now faces more charges in relation to another teen.
Gowryshankar Kathirkamanathan was arrested on May 2 on charges of sexual assault and forcible confinement. Durham Regional Police alleged that he picked up the teen in Hamilton and drove her to Ajax where “she was confined and sexually assaulted over a period of days.”

He was charged with five counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual interference, as well as one count each of forcible confinement, uttering threats and assault, and two counts of overcome resistance to the commission of an offence/administer drug.
In a news release on Friday, Durham cops said that “further investigation revealed that the suspect was having a sexual relationship with another 14-year-old female.”
On Thursday, Tactical Support Unit and Offender Management Unit officers executed an arrest warrant at an Ajax residence and took the suspect into custody without incident.
Kathirkamanathan’s charges now include sexual assault, sexual interference, assault, invitation to sexual touching, make child pornography, and possess child pornography. He was held for a bail hearing.

TORONTO MAN ACCUSED OF CHILD LURING
Toronto Police have charged a man with child luring after alleged online interactions with a person under age 16.
Cops say Bonny Williams, 61, was arrested on May 15 and charged with two counts of luring a person under 16 and two counts of attempt to commit a dual procedure offence.
Williams is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Court, on June 20 at 2 p.m., in room 201.
Police alleged he used the online identities Looking For F, Dan, and Gentleman30095, and say they are concerned there could be more alleged victims.

MEN ACCESSED CHILD PORN ONLINE: COPS
Two Toronto men are charged with possessing child pornography in separate investigations.
On Tuesday, “as part of an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material,” Toronto Police say members of the Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Islington Ave. and Rexdale Blvd. area.
It is alleged that “a man uploaded a quantity of child sexual abuse material from the internet.”
Nicolas Barthel, 26, of Toronto, was charged with possess child pornography and access child pornography and officers seized a quantity of electronic devices
Then on Wednesday, police executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Park Lawn Rd. and Lake Shore Blvd. W. area.
Cops allege the accused “downloaded a quantity of child sexual abuse material from the internet.”
Steven Wheelhouse, 38, was arrested and charged with possess child pornography and access child pornography and electronic devices were seized.
