Toronto Police say officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the area of Sherbourne St. and Dundas Street E. just before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

It’s reported that a man was involved in an altercation with another person when he pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim who was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as 30-40 years old, with a medium build, and he was wearing a black, zip-up windbreaker-style coat with the hood up, a black mask covering the lower part of his face, black pants, and black and white Jordan 3 sneakers.

SUSPECT SOUGHT FOR SMASHING WINDOWS OF SCARBOROUGH BUSINESS

Toronto Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a mischief investigation after responding to a call in the Midland Ave. and Sheppard Ave. E. area on Sunday morning.

It’s reported that around 6:05 a.m., the suspect arrived at a commercial business in a newer-model grey Hyundai Santa Fe SUV and used a sledgehammer to smash numerous windows of the business before fleeing in the vehicle.

MAN, 24, KILLED IN FIERY WEST END CRASH

Toronto Police are asking for anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage to get in contact with them following a fatal collision on Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Colborne Lodge Dr. on Wednesday night.

It’s reported that a 24-year-old man was driving a black Hyundai Veloster east on Lake Shore Blvd. W. when he lost control of the vehicle before striking a curb and a light post causing the car to burst into flames around 8:50 p.m.

Cops say the fire was extinguished, and the driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to hospital in life-threatening condition but passed away on Thursday.

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

THIRD ARREST IN EAST END ASSAULT

A third person in connection with an assault involving a blunt object in the city’s east end late last year.

Toronto Police say officers responded to an assault call in the area of Pape and Danforth Aves. around 3 a.m. on Nov. 18, 2024.

It’s alleged the victim was speaking with two people when one of them assaulted the victim from behind using a blunt object.

The two people fled in a Dodge Caravan.

The victim, meanwhile, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Peter Ham, 62, of Toronto, was charged with aggravated assault later that same day.

And Jaymi Fraser, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and robbery on Nov. 28, 2024.

On Thursday, police said that Jason Stacey, 48, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault and robbery.
