Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a group of bandits after two festivalgoers were stabbed during a robbery attempt in Scarborough over the weekend.

Hamilton Police have suspended a 23-year member, pending a the outcome of an investigation into social media posts which allegedly contain prejudicial content.
Police said the posts were first brought to their attention by a media outlet and upon learning of these allegations, the veteran cop was suspended with pay and an internal investigation was initiated.

If the probe determines the member’s conduct breached Hamilton Police Service standards, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken, said police.
Attempted Ferrari theft in Yorkville foiled: Cops
There was a foiled Ferrari theft in Yorkville late Sunday afternoon.
Toronto Police said they received a call for an attempted car robbery around 4:43 p.m. in the Yorkville and Hazleton Ave. area, when three men tried to steal the victim’s luxury vehicle.
Cops say there was an altercation, and the three suspects fled the scene.
Police said no arrests had been yet but the investigation continues.
