Police said they responded to a fire Saturday at about 6:30 a.m. in the 15th Sideroad-Charles Baker Dr. area, where officers found two under-construction homes engulfed in flames in a new-build residential neighbourhood.
No one was injured as the homes were unoccupied at the time.
Police said video shows two suspects arriving in a newer-model Dodge Durango before retrieving jerrycans from the trunk. They approach the homes and light them on fire before fleeing eastbound on Bud Willmot Way.

Police said the Durango, believed to be a 2021-24 version and possibly an SRT model, is matte grey with black alloy rims, a hood air-intake vent and sunroof.
The two suspects are both males who were wearing all-black clothing and black face masks at the time. They were each carrying one yellow and one red jerrycan.

FIREARM NABBED DURING BRAMPTON TRAFFIC STOP
A 26-year-old Brampton man is facing a slew of gun and drug charges after a traffic stop led to the seizure of an illegal firearm and narcotics.
Peel Regional Police said they made the bust Saturday after officers suspected a driver was distracted while operating a vehicle in the Bovaird Dr.-Airport Rd. area. Officers detected cannabis during the traffic stop, prompting a more in-depth investigation that yielded a loaded .40-calibre handgun, cannabis and suspected heroin.
